Combating the Spirit of Accusation!

Contemplating the Eve of #marymagdalene Feast Day. July 22nd. Praying the the Spirit of accusation, deceit, gossip and deception will be revealed in all ways. We must stand for a return of civility and respect for others. The Spirt of evil is wrapped in grandiose egos. We don’t know what we don’t know. Be curious to learn and grow along the journey. Your eyes may be opened and you may see what once was hidden.
Today I reached out to a group ( should have first discerned) to see if I might have gifts that could be of service. Through messenger they asked me some questions making assumptions about my intention and motives. After researching I found that this sort of uncivil response was not foreign to this particular group. They profess to work in a field that I know requires great compassion. After they insulted me, made false accusations and threats… it made me think about Mary Magdalene and what she endured for centuries based on one man’s opinion. Thankfully in 1969, this correction was made and she is now seen for her role as being the first to share that the He has risen. The apostle to the apostles many say.
We see this same Spirit of making assumptions and blaming others especially behind the veil of secrecy. The polarization, lack of civility and lack of being willing to listen to one another is something we must stand against. We have to bring our country back. I have lived i a communist country. Social programs are not the same as socialism. When government becomes your God, you have not hope for a future.
As the Lord often does, I was led to this passage of scripture.
Mark Chapter 7:6-20
