Oh my, today at church the message was about the Secret Place. When I was 10 years old, I wrote a poem titled The Secret Place that won honorable mention in the Highland Magazine for kids poetry contest. It is actually the poem that opens my memoir, Finding Dallas, A Spiritual Journey through Childhood Abuse to the Glory of God’s Plan that the Holy Spirit inspired me to write. You can order your copy here. This began my healing journey and the remembering of my eternal connection to all that is. 

The Secret Place is waiting to be discovered. No one can give it to you; however, as you seek to know God with all your heart, mind and soul… you will remember this truth. It’s a knowingness that cannot be learned. It can only be uncovered. If you honestly desire this connection, as you seek you will find. Leave the judgement and the expectation aside, the supernatural in the nature of a storm is where you find the Kingdom of God. It is here that mountains move. A faith that does not fold in the midst of the storms of life will find peace and the grace to truly live in freedom and discover the Kingdom Within.

 

 

Wow! What a wonderful confirmation about my walk with God. I am so grateful for the angelic protect throughout my lifetime. May you all discover this secret place in your heart. This is the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the knowingness that we are never truly alone even in the darkest moments.
