Women Were Essential and Equal Leaders in the Ministry of Jesus Until the 6th Century

Why Aren’t the Churches Professing to Follow Jesus Following His Example?

Have you ever stopped and wondered that if Jesus felt women had a place in ministry leadership (which was not the norm during his lifetime or within his culture) why the church that professes to follow Jesus doesn’t follow his Way? It wasn’t until the 6th Century that women we erased from church leadership. In fact, there is a fresco today in Naples that depicts a woman Bishop in the early church with the fire of the Holy Spirit surrounding the scriptures.

We know that Saint Mary Magdalene was named the Apostle to the Apostles, yet the attempt to discredit her as a prostitute was cast, and in 591 Pope Gregory the Great added fuel to the fire during a sermon.  Some churches still today will not ordain women who are gifted and called to this role, while others have been awakened to the truth that we are all worthy under the message and example of the one we call our Beloved.

I have known in my heart that I was called to share the Sacred Heart of Jesus and share the good news as he did that the Kingdom of God is at hand. It is only waiting for us to seek with an open heart and mind that can listen to the heart and not the ego.

As someone who is catholic and also followed other christian faith practices, I know that I have been called to share this universal undeniable truth. The fact that I am a woman does not change my mission or my message about the Divine Love that is waiting to be rediscovered by your soul.

Recently I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit saying, “Come back home. You can do a lot of good here.” It brought tears to my eyes and the silent stream traveled down my face as I made my way back to my seat. I know that much of the world is groaning and the time is now for hearts to awaken to the messages of unity expressed through Jesus, Gandhi, and Dr. Martin Luther King. When we look with the eyes of Heaven, we know that this is a deep truth where peace and harmony reside.

I am discerning what that message from the Holy Spirit means. When God ordained me the first time, I asked why when I had been working so hard to remove the labels. I was told then, “You need it to do my work.”  I don’t believe now I am being asked to let that go, to step back and not move forward. I have my ministry and also my Sacred Heart Prayer and Healing Center. I am still discerning that message and how I am supposed to “Come Back Home.”

I am asking for your prayers as I discern what this means and how to walk out this new bread crumb trail.  My Sacred Sounds for the Soul CD is in production as we speak. You can hear a sample under the music section of this site.  As our CoVid restriction lifts, I will be available to come to speak, share my music with your church or group gathering. I have seen the miraculous and do believe miracles happen today.

Sending you the light and love of God!
